Product Description

The Blackened Rub is well-balanced and unmatched.  Unlike the inexpensive blackening seasonings you might find at grocery stores, our blend has a very low amount of sodium.  Add as much blackened flavor as you want without over-salting!

A flavorful mix of peppers finished with herbs and celery seed, the Blackened Rub has a certain smokiness and makes everything taste like it came off the grill.  It is perfect for summer but will quickly become part of your daily cooking routine year-round. 

This versatile seasoning can be used liberally to create a thick and crispy coating of flavor on meat and fish, or lightly over vegetables or tofu.

    This rub is my secret weapon on burgers, steaks & chicken. So easy. So good. Sometimes, I sneak a little on buttered popcorn.

    I LOVE to grill, which I got from my dad- at least 3 nights a week in our house growing up. I thought he had a pretty dang good rub for pork tenderloin- and then found this Blackened rub at a Chicago Street Fair. This stuff is magic- perfect on pork and chicken! Thanks for creating this, Spice Heist!

    I haven't made my own blackening spice; I always get mad at myself for not doing it. I've been missing it and was about to break down and make it for myself when lo and behold I won a recipe contest and was able to explore some of the Prohibition offerings. I LOVE THIS BLACKENING SPICE. My clients love it. It's a keeper. And they are right, it should be illegal. I think I'm going to sprinkle it on some potato chips just for kicks. I also might begin to carry it around with me in my purse. It's that serious. I haven't tried the banger mix yet but can't wait to get into it next week. Thank goodness you're around.
